In an article on "Privacy and freedom: An economic (re-)evaluation of privacy," Andreas develops together with Dominik van Aaken and Arnold Picot a novel economic perspective on privacy. The authors show that privacy is closely related to freedom and therefore should be given a similar priority in economic decision-making. Andreas Ostermaier has left TUM for a 4-month research visit to Stanford University. He is going to continue his work in the fields of accounting and innovation management in California. We are pleased about his invitation to this highly reputed institution and his chance to connect to international top researchers. We wish him good luck for his stay.
